Chorley Empire Community Cinema’s new season has been announced and it looks set to be one of excitement and variety with the focus on ‘the best of British’.
With nine films lined up from January to May, the cinema is ready to display some the greatest British features of the last year, along with some older British comedy classics.
Tomas Alfredson’s Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy is being screened at Chorley Little Theatre on February 12 and will give audiences an exciting look into the world of MI6 during the Cold War.
During March, audiences can expect some light hearted comedy in the form of Johnny English Reborn where we see Rowan Atkinson returning to the role of the useless British spy.
The recent biopic My Week with Marilyn will also be showing in March. This film looks at the famous star Marilyn Monroe and her time spent in England, shooting a film, during the 50s.
March sees classic 1960s British drama returning to Chorley Little Theatre in the form of A Taste of Honey.
April will sees tense crime thriller Brighton Rock and the Thatcher biopic The Iron Lady shows in May.
