Quirky top-rated comedy comes to Chorley Little Theatre with Moths Ate My Doctor Who Scarf Friday, February 18 at 7.30pm.
Written and performed by Toby Hadoke and directed by Mark Attwood the show invites the audience to get out from behind that sofa and get aboard Toby’s TARDIS on a trip through time – charting the rise, fall and rise again of a television legend.
The 80 minute show is a personal, satirical and razor sharp comic odyssey from child to man, through obsession, joy and disappointment.
This award-winning comedian’s show is a must for anyone who’s ever had a passion for anything with their hobby seeping into every aspect of their life.
An intimate knowledge of Doctor Who is not required, although a disdain for the BNP, football hooligans and Hollyoaks would be useful.
The Guardian said: “This heartfelt rites of passage memoir does for Daleks and Cybermen what Fever Pitch did for football.”
Tickets are £10 and £8 from Malcolm's Musicland, 01257 264362 or www.chorleytheatre.com.
