Residents are being invited to comment on controversial plans for new homes in Clayton-Le-Woods.
Developer Redrow Homes is holding a public consultation for people to view plans of the proposed development.
The plan allocates the land to the east of Wigan Road for mixed use, comprising of a buisness park and a further 300 homes.
These new Redrow homes are in addition to 300 homes recently granted planning permission on land fronting Wigan Road.
Now residents are being asked to give their views on the proposed development, before the builders draw up their final plans to the housing scheme.
Robin Buckley, senior planning manager said: “We're looking to submit an outline planning application for up to 150 homes.
“However, we are keen to take account of the views of local people before finalising our masterplan."
The event will take place at Lancaster Lane CP School, Hunters Road, on Thursday, November 24 from 4.30pm to 8pm.
