ELIZABETH WHALLEY (nee HEATON) On Thursday, 14th September, 2017, passed away peacefully, in Royal Blackburn Hospital, surrounded by her loving family, Elizabeth aged 91 years, formerly of Bog Height Road, Darwen. Beloved wife of Kenneth (Kel), much loved mum of Brian, treasured grandma to Andrew and dear mother-in-law of Jackie. Reposing in the Chapel of Rest, Duckworth Street, Darwen. Special thanks to all staff on Ward C2, Royal Blackburn Hospital for the care and compassion shown. A 1.30 pm service and committal will take place on Monday, 25th September at Pleasington Crematorium. Family flowers only please, donations, if desired, may be made in memory of Elizabeth to Ward C2, Royal Blackburn Hospital c/o Co-op Funeralcare, 234 Duckworth Street, Darwen, BB3 1PX.
