RITA HARRISON On Tuesday December 6th 2016 suddenly at the Royal Blackburn Hospital, Rita aged 98 years passed away surrounded by her loving family. The dearly loved wife of the late Gilbert, a very special and loved mother to all her family, dearly loved grandma, great grandma and great great grandma. A special thanks go to doctor E Ahmed and nursing staff at Royal Blackburn Hospital and the carers who recently attended Rita. Reposing in the Darwen Chapel of Rest, Blackburn Road, Darwen. A funeral service will take place in St Cuthberts Church Darwen on Thursday December 15th at 12.30pm followed by committal at Pleasington Crematorium. Family flowers only please but donations in memory of Rita may be made to Cancer Research uk ( cheques only please ) c/o Darwen Funeral Services, 59-61, Blackburn Road, Darwen.
