EDITH HARWOOD (NEE LEIGHTON) On Sunday September 25th 2016, peacefully at Oldfield House, Edith aged 88 years. Wife of the late Albert, loved mum of Brenda, Christine, Brian and the late Moureen, mother-in-law to Stephen, Wendy and the late Ken a loved nanny and great grandma. Will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Reposing in the Darwen Chapel of Rest, Blackburn Road, Darwen, where a funeral service will take place on Friday September 30th at 2.00pm followed by interment at Darwen Eastern Cemetery. Family flowers only please but donations in memory of Edith made be made to Oldfield House (cheques only please) c/o Darwen Funeral Services, 59-61, Blackburn Road, Darwen. All enq tel: 01254 873618
