COLIN GLEAVE On 24th October 2014, peacefully at home, Colin aged 75 years. Dearly loved husband of Ann, loving father of Alison and Robert, stepfather of Lisa and Andrea also a dear father in law and grandfather. A service of celebration of Colin’s life will be held at Pleasington Crematorium on Tuesday, 4th November at 10.45 a.m. Family flowers only please, but if desired donations may be sent for the East Lancashire Hospice. c/o Ainsworth’s Funeral Service, Church Bank Street, Darwen. I know this is late, but Colin paid me the biggest compliment of my life. It was a great privilege to have known him, and shared his sense of humour. I hope his family feel as blessed as others do, just to have known him. A great raconteur also - every inch a ‘mans man’ ( though ladies may not agree). I am female, BTW. Hope he got that convertable he always wanted. Won’t ever forget his smile or eyes.
