RONALD SLATER (RON) Former postmaster at Burnley Road Post Office, Blackburn. Suddenly on Tuesday, July 22, 2014, at home, Ron, aged 87 years. Beloved husband of Esther, much loved dad of Lesley, Karen, Martin and Christopher and grandad of Charlie, Edward and Gaby. Reposing in the Mill Hill Chapel of Rest, 9 New Wellington Street, Blackburn, BB2 4DY. Funeral service and cremation will take place at Pleasington Crematorium on Friday, August 1, 2014, at 1:30pm.
